2010 Vendor Fair - Historical

T3WD is proud to announce our SEVENTH annual Vendor's Fair.

Saturday, September 18th, 2010. 11am - 5pm

Fun, fellowship and a chance to buy all those early gifts for the kinky people in your life. Or just buy toys for yourself if you are a scrooge. Presentations abound, a chance to meet everyone from the new to the old. Refreshments available on site. Raffles ongoing during the day.

The vendor fair will be running from 11am until 5pm, there will also be some portions of The SC Leather Contest running during the day and into the evening. Between the Vendor Fair and the Evening portion of The SC Leather Contest there will be a dinner hosted by the Leather Order of the Midlands.

Cost: $10 to attend the Vendor Fair, $5 for the dinner, $25 for the Evening portion of the contest.

CANING: FROM SENSUOUS TO SADISTIC (Presented by Lady D) - Many people think of caning and think that it is only for seriously heavy players but caning can also be light and playful. Caning, unlike spanking or paddling gives a two-fold sensation. You first feel the strike and moments later, it radiates throughout you. Caning can be very sensuously applied or you can sadistically cane someone. But are we? How many broken BDSM relationships have you experienced or seen among your friends? What does "communicating" mean? How do we go about improving this most important of all actions? In this presentation we will talk about how to have the difficult and challenging conversations that are so important to our kinky relationships. Participants will take with them a tool for planning their challenging conversations, and develop the skills necessary to keep our important talks from becoming conflicts.

Sensual Cuttings (Presented by NCMaster) - Edge play is one of the more advanced types of BDSM play. When the drawing of blood is added to the edge play it becomes even more intimate and sensual. Mastering Long Distance Relationships (Presented by Master Void) - Master Void and esclave (via Skype) found each other at a BDSM conference. After the initial meeting, they decided to try to build a long-distance relationship. While they share a goal of being together full time, they have managed to build and maintain a successful M/s relationship for over 3 years, in spite of the obstacles that this amount of distance brings. In this class, they will share their formula for success, in order to help you with your relationships. You will leave with tools to help you manage your relationships no matter what the distance.

Lady D - is a lifestyle domme and owner of D&S Lifestyle Enterprises Inc. As a sex consultant, she counsels and helps those in complimentary lifestyles accept who they truly are. For almost twelve years she ran PEP Atlanta (People Exchanging Power), a BDSM pansexual support group in Atlanta Georgia. Two years ago she created PEP4POC (People Exchanging Power for People of Color) an inclusionary group created to enlighten, empower and dispel myths and misconceptions concerning BDSM and People of Color. Her personal commitment is to help make this community stronger and better and to continue to Each One, Teach One, a philosophy that she was taught by her elders.

Lady Beth - Proud to identify as a southern leatherwoman who holds the older leather traditions close to her heart. The challenges of growing up leather in the South have left her with a dedication to supporting the networking and educational opportunities of local and regional groups which provide such a strong foundation for the kinky folk of today. Served on the CAPEX Board of Directors for four terms, Slinky has served as the coordinator for the Sub-SIG and they have both hosted the Capex Relationship SIG in their home for several years. Involved with lifestyle groups such as SC-LOCK, Cloak, Talon, Capex, T3WD, TAAG, MDG and TTC. They have done presentations for groups in both Carolinas, Tennessee, and Virginia, Florida and Georgia.
