heyokah
Nothing I say or do about My journey into the BDSM lifestyle would be complete if I did not mention the woman who was My first slave, heyokah.  To her I must give much of the credit (or blame, y'all decide) for shaping Me into the Dominant I am, and am becoming.  When she accepted My collar, as the Gorean slave girl known simply as __kajira__, December 23rd, 1997, I was still very much the wet behind the ears Dom wannabe...  She began to teach Me what it really means to be a Master.  And I am still learning from her to this day.

I renamed her _kajira_HZ (for those days were before I had been given the title) and My education in the BDSM lifestyle really began in earnest.  I encouraged her, lifted her up, and began the process of shaping her to what I wanted..... and she began shaping Me into what I needed.  I renamed her heyokah_HZ because she deserved a real name, one that reflected who she was and who I was, and who and what we were coming to be.  I can not thank her enough for the part she has played in My growth.

It was her encouragement that led Me to collar the woman who was to become My kalise, her total acceptance of Me, My inexperience in the Scene, My desire to learn, My weaknesses as well as My strengths, that kept Me going at times I was discouraged. It was My devotion to her, My sense of duty and honor, that made Me delve into more and more areas of the lifestyle, the discipline, the S&M, Gor, that made Me learn, made Me grow, forced Me to become a better Master, to become the best Master I could be, for her and her sister both.

Even though kah no longer wears My collar, she continues to be a very real, very important part of My life, and in the life of her sister of the heart. Our friendship runs very deep.  kah and her Husband, recently moved halfway across the country, and kah is now able to visit with maya` RL on a more frequent basis than before.  But we can visit a bit more often now, so that is a very good thing. She is a part of our Family and always will be.  The day I branded My first kajira, My heyokah, I seared My place in her heart, and seared her into Mine as well.  She is a jewel with many facets, The Keep will always be open to her, for Home is where the heart is.  Here then, is Home.
